The Great Gatsby Film - 2013

Another resource that I believe to be very helpful to get a visual if you cant while reading the book is The Great Gatsby Movie. In my opinion when I first read the book yes, the diction and imagery used in the book did help me visualize what was going around and also when describing the characters, but once I watched the movie I seen it all come together in one. Characters, scenes, and the whole era of the 1920's where F. Scott Fitzgerald began writing this book.

 Psychoanalytical Lens

http://prezi.com/yq3ayobuj5pd/psychoanalytic-reading-of-the-great-gatsby/

This is a link to a powerpoint based on a critical lens known as psychoanalytical . I chose and believe this is one helpful resource because not only it gives some background information about the book and the characters but it also gives the book a different perspective to view it from. Whether you have your own idea of what the book is trying to portray it gives you an even broad idea and help you become even more open-minded.

Political Cartoon
This cartoon is very meaningful or has a lot to say due to the fact of how Gatsby is famous, but not very well known by many and his personal life. Not only it shows that he is always talked about by many but also the fact that due to nobody knows anything, people start making stuff up or getting rumors around.

This is a piece of artwork is based on the novel "The Great Gatsby". I chose this piece of artwork because I feel it has a lot of representation of the book itself and also the main character who is Gatsby. In here you can see the city of the setting which is New York and also above New York you see the type of car Gatsby owns and as well that plays a major part of it when Daisy, his lover kills her husbands, Mr. Buchanan misstress Myrtle.
